Find your fit.
Right size, first time.
Ratio shoes use EU sizes. Most people order their usual size, and your foot length in cm is the most reliable check. Use the rules on the right, check your foot length below, or message us and we will recommend a size before you order.
Measure your foot in 2 minutes.
Measure in the evening, when feet are slightly larger, and wear the socks you usually wear with the shoes.
Paper on the floor
Place a sheet of A4 paper against a wall, on a hard floor.
Heel to the wall
Stand on the paper with your heel touching the wall and your weight on that foot.
Mark the longest toe
Mark the tip of your longest toe, then measure from the wall to the mark in cm.
Use the bigger foot
Measure both feet and match the longer one to the chart below.
EU size by foot length.
Find your foot length, then read across to your EU size. If your foot is between two lengths, choose the larger size.

Foot lengths are a guide and may vary by about 0.5 cm between models. UK and US sizes are converted from foot length and are approximate; if you know your size only in another brand's EU, UK or US numbers, measure your foot to be sure. Available sizes vary by model; see the table below.

Steeper 8CM sport styles push your foot forward, so they need one extra size. Everything else fits true to size for normal-width feet.

I'm between two sizes. Which should I pick?
Choose the larger size. A height-increasing shoe has the lift built in under your heel, so a little extra room at the toe is more comfortable than a tight fit, especially on 7CM and 8CM models.
Do I need a bigger size because of the hidden lift?
Not for most models. Ratio shoes are designed around the lift, so you can usually order your normal EU size. The exceptions are the steeper Apex 7CM, Apex 8CM and Vertex X 8CM, where we recommend one size up.
I have wide feet or a high instep.
Go one size up from your usual EU size. If you are unsure, send us your foot length and the model you like on WhatsApp and we will recommend a size.
What if the size still doesn't fit?
You can request a size exchange within 30 days of receiving your order. Keep the shoes unworn, clean and in the original box, and try them on indoors only. Full details are on our warranty & returns page.
How do Lift Insoles and Elevate Socks fit?
Lift Insoles come in paired sizes: 37–38, 39–40, 41–42 and 43–44, so choose the pair that includes your shoe size. They work best in shoes with some extra room inside. Elevate Socks come in +4CM, +5CM and +6CM heel lifts.
Are these the same as Malaysian store sizes?
Ratio uses EU size numbers, but our shoes are made in Asia, where each EU size steps up by 0.5 cm of foot length. European and American brands such as Nike or Adidas can run up to one size differently at larger sizes, so go by your foot length in cm rather than the size number on another brand's shoe. UK and US sizes in the chart are converted from foot length and are approximate.
